A small percentage of people have an allergy to latex, anyone who has this rare allergy should utilize a polyurethane condom instead.
Polyurethane condoms are made from a thin type of plastic. Because the condom is thinner then latex, it increases sensitivity and almost feels like you are not utilizing a condom at all. The one thing about a thinner condom is the added feeling. If you can get as close to natural as possible, while still practicing safe sex that is the route to take.
Polyurethane condoms are a little more expensive then latex and less flexible as well. More lubrication will be needed to enjoy utilizing this condom, to make for easy penetration. Without the proper amount of lubricant on the condom, it will cause a dry sensation during sexual intercourse, which can substantially hurt both partners. You can utilize both types of lubricants with this condom. Oil based and water based lubricants are safe and provide a great coating for the condom.
No one knows for sure which condom is indeed the strongest, although speculations have been made between the two. However, both condoms have a small chance of breaking, and are extremely safe to use.
The amount of lubrication put a condom, and different additives to the condoms change. You can purchase condoms that have ribbed sides that are suppose to make the sensation of intercourse feel a lot more intense. Or, you can always get the basic condoms which provide the same amount of sensitivity to both partners.
